Use butt joints when the outer border will not be seen.
Use mitered corners when the outer frame is exposed.
The Clean Cut is a uniquely designed vise that holds the thin metals used in the outer borders of stained glass panels secure for cutting without crushing them. In addition to holding the zinc or brass secure the vise also gives saw guides for making 90-degree and 45-degree cuts.
